Because Healdsburg has a Muni, there may be non-PG&E customers who are without power due to a problem with the City's grid."

Aug. 31, 2:21 p.m. According to officials, more than 6,000 customers in Sonoma County were without power on Wednesday shortly after noon due to a major power outage.

 By 2 p.m., the number of customers without power had decreased to 3,000.

Residents in Geyserville, Healdsburg, and Cloverdale were affected, according to PG&E.

 The utility told SFGATE that it is investigating the cause of the outage and believes a piece of equipment in Cloverdale is to blame.

PG&E has stated that it is working to restore power to all customers as soon as possible.
