Luke Combs fans got a concert experience they will never forget on Saturday (September 3).
After the opening acts, Mitchell Tenpenny and Morgan Wade, Combs entered the stage and announced to the audience that he had refunded all of their tickets.
He continued by saying that he was having vocal problems and wanted to offer the audience what they had paid for.
So, despite his voice not being at its finest, he gave every ticket's purchase price a refund and continued to perform "the best free show" he could.
Luke Combs made the altruistic act one night after he thanked two teenage audience members who had stacked firewood to pay for performance tickets.
The lads were carrying a banner that read, "We made $100 stacking 5 cords of wood, got two Luke Combs tickets... man, he sounds nice,"
when Combs came upon them. Our fathers were mistaken when they said it was a waste of time.
My 12th birthday is today, and, Lord, when it rains, it pours.
Combs called the lads to the side of the stage, interrupted his performance, and gave them $140 in cash before signing their hats.
