Hov's Twitter appearance was prompted by a tweet from LeBron James,

who was mentioned as one of four billionaire Roc Nation members to have visited the rapper and Beyoncé's home,

along with JAY, Kanye West, and Rihanna. The NBA star tweeted a link to an MSNBC video in which the rapper addressed Nixon's failed drug war in his "GOD DID" verse,

adding, "Listen! Then listen again to ensure you understand the point.

HOW DID!!!! And so did the journalist! "My only goal is to make the real 'ones' feel seen,

forgive me that's my passion talking," the rapper simply replied. haa.”

According to his engineer and friend Young Guru, his verse for "GOD DID" was recorded in just one take
